This client was embarking upon a major 5 year IT transformation programme.
This was the largest initiative in the UK of its kind at the time and involved replacing every aspect of their IT infrastructure. The aim was to maximise efficiency across all operations. This included the distribution centres, stores, finance, manufacturing and the head office commercial teams.
First Friday were engaged to provide change management, communications and training teams to support the programme.
First Friday implemented a change management methodology that ensured minimum disruption to day-to-day business, whilst returning maximum performance both during and after implementation. A First Friday training and communications team then worked with the business change managers to transfer knowledge and train teams on the new systems and processes. This ensured a smooth cutover for each of the business units as they moved to the new systems.
