The client has a strategic initiative to become a true omni-channel retailer and a leader in ecommerce. An early and critical element of this programme was delivering a new website.
First Friday were engaged to support the business during an innovative iteration process involving the identification of best practice system and business process and then to design, develop and deliver a robust suite of training for all impacted stakeholders.
Initially we worked with the business to help identify the to-be business processes and new ways of working. Next we developed a training solution, which had 14 separate events covering briefings, theory and systems courses, practice sessions and refresher workshops – all tailored to a number of different audiences. We also delivered pre and post go-live support and new starter training to the online selling team, buying and merchandising and the brand creative team.
The new website was successfully launched with over 690 staff trained and supported by First Friday. The training enabled the website team to integrate with all other teams in the business and understand their impact on all channels.
