Michaela worked for the Arcadia Group for 12 years and is experienced in all aspects of commercial store management for fashion retail brands.

She moved into retail training after 5 years in stores to lead the retail training team in Wallis, Principles, Warehouse and Evans before specialising in project management for Wallis.

At First Friday Michaela manages retail and management development projects in aspects as diverse as customer service, visual merchandising and commercial management to personal effectiveness, coaching skills and team development.

As a business development manager, Michaela gets to meet a huge range of retailers and retail organisation.  This is a part of her job she relishes – she likes nothing better than getting stuck in to understand and explore the needs and challenges of those businesses.

She loves translating that need into creative learning solutions and facilitating groups to learn and work together and transfer new learning into their work roles. And the best part is seeing how that learning can really make a difference to their business and to them personally.
